Strange but really cool song.
Keep howling Warren wherever you may be❤
What ! Im. Old my hips still still work.
Going from listening to "My Shits Fucked Up" to "Werewolves Of London" is a strange kind of whiplash only Zevon can provide
Great to see Michael Shrieve on drums. Such a talented drummer!!
If you have the same reaction I do to one specific line in this song, well, here's the official recipe. (And it has NOTHING to do with getting caught in the rain…)
1 ¼ oz. Trader Vic's Gold Rum
1 ½ oz. coconut liqueur
3 oz. pineapple juice
1 ½ oz. cream
½ oz. simple syrup
1 pineapple slice
Pour ingredients into a blender with ice and blend. Pour into a hurricane glass and garnish with pineapple and cherry.
I went to Lee Ho Fuk in London's Chinatown in 1997 because of this song. The waiter seated us right next to the restroom. Oversharing info as usual.
I just learned about this song today this song is better than sweet home Alabama in my opinion.
The first I heard on the Color Of Money movie Tom Cruise back 88
I say hi to Warren every night in my dreams.I always say don't wake me until I'm dead.
Always an upbeat tune no matter the setting, except while plucking feathers.
Werewolves again 🐻🐕🦁? 🐱🐰🐨🦄🐖🐏🐑🐀🐩🐿️🦘🦜🐦🕊️🦢🐓🐧🐤🐣🦉 👅🐍✨🕳️👢
McVie and mick drums and bass on this
Wooo werewolves are punin
Is this meant to be a reference to something, or is it really just a song about werewolves and that's that?
Love how the werewolf just randomly skulks through the video.
Bought the album in '78, but never saw this video till this moment. From the album packaging i thought that Asylum was marketing him as an edgier Jackson Browne, and this video seems to confirm it. The lengthy shots of Warren at just the right angle, his singing directly to the viewer, the tousled blonde tresses, the band, when seen, in shadows, or simply close ups of their hands on their instruments. Star treatment, but Warren never craved the spotlight as Elton, or even Jackson, did.
Lip sync videos are a drag…even when promoting a good song by a good songwriter and his band…
It's ok. No need to scared
So thats what happened to Tawny Kittaen
Singing Sweet Home Alabama all summer long…
